‘Skills for Future Jobs’ Fair – PME Edition

MENDAKI SENSE and BERITA Mediacorp jointly present the Skills for Future Jobs Exhibition for Professionals, Managers, and Executives (PMEs), and those aspiring to be. This career & training exhibition is supported by Workforce Singapore (WSG) and the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF).

Skills for Future Jobs Exhibition – PME Edition aims to inculcate a culture of lifelong learning, with focus on the following themes: Job Opportunities, Upskilling, Career Mobility, and Professional Development. This fair is specially curated for both aspiring and current PMEs.

Through this fair, we aim to reach out to the PME community to raise awareness on the need to be in constant motion and actively seek out lifelong learning and personal development opportunities, which support their journey towards employment or working towards career sustainability.

We have insightful activities and a packed programme lined up for YOU!

 

Career & Training Fair (10.30am – 5.00pm)
Expect employers & training providers from growth and developing sectors like Financial Services, Professional Services, Healthcare, and Infocomm Technology (ICT)! Some of our training providers are even on-board with government initiatives meant for the PME community, such as the P-Max programme and the Professional Conversion Programme (PCP). On the other hand, the employers we have gathered will bring forth more than 750 job vacancies available, with on-site interviews.

SENSE is also partnering with WSG to bring their virtual career fair to our event. This virtual career fair is an ongoing initiative (15 – 28 July) by WSG that offers jobs in fast-growing SMEs from various sectors such as ICT, Biomedical Science, and Professional Services.

Mr Farhan Firdaus
General Manager at Agrivo International & Motivational Speaker

Mr Farhan Firdaus is a corporate senior management for major corporations and MNCs. With a background in entrepreneurship, he has spearheaded a tech-for-good initiative at the community level in Singapore, which has garnered the support of the Singapore government. He champions entrepreneurship among youths as a Committee Member of the SMCCI Youth Entrepreneurship Network (YEN). As an active public speaker, he participated in Tedx and given talks on technology and entrepreneurship at renowned universities.
  Mr Hafiz Salim Al-Khatib
Restaurateur/Entrepreneur – Malayan Council

Mr Hafiz Salim is a restaurateur/entrepreneur of Malayan Council. He has over 18 years experience in the F&b industry. He has extensive experience as a chef, working for the Ritz Carlton, Raffles Hotel, and Ps Cafe. Back in Singapore after 4 years in Melbourne, he has opened the successful restaurant, The Malayan Council in 2015.
Mr Khairul Rusydi
CEO, Reactor

Mr Khairul Rusydi is the co-founder of Reactor, an education start-up where they train students from 14 – 24 to develop an entrepreneurial spirit. As an employer for Reactor, he believes that
skillsets, character, and idea generation are value-added attributes in startup industries. Mr Rusydi is also an active advocate for entrepreneurial exploration as well as helping young aspiring entrepreneurs to exercise their creative minds in business setups.

Ms Noor Baizura
Co-Founder & Training Director, Euphoric Consulting

Ms Noor Baizura is the Motivational speaker Business  Partner for Euphoric Consulting and the Associate Managing Director of PropNex. She is an active volunteer Board Member and the Head of Fundraising Club H.E.A.L. where she is involved in helping people with mental illness and their family members to lead a fulfilling and stigma-free life. As a public speaker, she advocates on mental health awareness and trauma prevention the community.
